Ministry
God has not created us to live apart in isolation, but together in community. It is in the midst of community that each of us have the opportunity to serve and to be served, to use our giftedness and receive from the talents of others. It is within Christian community that loneliness disappears and genuine friendships are forged. God has designed the local church to be a community in which each Christian has a role to play so that the name of Jesus might be exalted and the needs of each member might be met. God has not designed Christian discipleship to be undertaken alone. Together those who love Jesus work to carry out God’s will.
Are you a part of the community of the local church? If not, we invite you to come and be a part of Grace Baptist Church. Come and learn more of who Jesus is and what His will is for your life. Find your place of service and find your place within the body of Christ (Romans 12:3-8).
Grace Baptist Church also gladly hosts:
The Durham Nativity School [ www.durhamnativity.org ]: A private school for boys committed to bringing an education to socio-economically disadvantaged and at-risk boys who might not otherwise have access to a quality education in East Durham.
